 Be the Hands and Feet of Christ in Your Community

Projects: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Special Time of Reflection:  1:30 - 2:00 pm

Lunch provided by Jimmy John's. 

     Over 600 people will arrive at CUMC on Monday, January 16 to volunteer their time to work on a variety of service projects including:

  • Constructing saw horses for Habitat for Humanity (Orange County)
  • Cutting and assembling 20 picnic tables for Habitat for Humanity (Orange County), Camp Chestnut Ridge, and The Genesis Home
  • Cleaning computer components for Kramden Inst., and educating the 50 families who will receive the computers
  • Sorting shoes for Share our Shoes
  • Sorting Clothes for the Chatham PTA Thrift Shop
  • Creating Valentine’s Day cards for veterans
  • Assembling Birthday Kits for the IFC Food Bank
  • Making scarves for various charities
  • Assembling health, school, and cleaning kits for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief)

    We need a team of 12-18 CUMC members to help lead community volunteers in these projects.  We also need you to invite your friends and neighbors to join us to serve the community on this special day.  To volunteer in any capacity, please contact Robert Amico (407- 496-7676; or Christi Dye (919-969-8820; ).
