Ronald McDonald House Meals
The Ronald McDonald House provides a place for families to stay while one of their children is in the hospital. These families don't live close enough to the hospital to drive there each day, so they are able to make RMH their home away from home. By cooking a meal for 30-40 people staying at the House, the youth will be able to show love and provide a home-cooked meal to families with many worries and struggles.
Garden Project
At least once a month, a group of youth will head to Durham to help construct a raised bed garden around the outside of the Reality Ministries building. These gardens will allow the special needs teenagers in wheelchairs to learn and practice the skills of gardening alongside their peers. The gardens will also provide beautification to the inner-city neighborhood and an afterschool activity for at risk youth in the Durham area.
