30 Hour Famine
Each spring, we gather with area churches for a huge 30 Hour Famine. This event is to raise our own awareness of the hunger in our local and global community, while raising money to help combat both. Check back for the 2012 date soon.
Interfaith Council (IFC) Breakfasts 
Each Sunday, since Christ Church's inception, teams of 5 people prepare and serve breakfast at the homeless shelter in downtown Chapel Hill. Beginning at 6 am, the crew prepares scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, toast & sweet rolls, sausage, grits, juice, and fresh fruit that is served to 75-90 hungry people.
