Youth Ministry at CUMC
Hello website onlooker! Maybe you are new to the area and curious about your local youth group. Maybe you are a member already and just wanted to see if we put that pretty picture of you up on the website. Maybe you’re a robot. No matter what, we are happy you are here! We are an open and inclusive youth group and we are always happy to meet new people! If you would like to participate in Youth Group all you have to do is show up and we can get you plugged in!
This Fall, we are starting a new weekly rhythm.
Middle Schoolers will start at 5, hang out for an hour, play a bunch of games, sing a few songs, learn a little about Jesus, and then we will eat a meal all together with our high school friends! Pick up will then be at 6:40.
High schoolers will start at 6 with dinner and games, and then we will jump into worship and small group time together. We will finish up at 8.
If you want to come early or stay late (for example if you have a bro/sis who is in high school and you’re in middle school and your parents don’t want to make two trips) you are more than welcome to hang out in the game room upstairs whenever the other age group is meeting. We have… games (of the video and physical variety) whenever the other age group is meeting.
If you are interested in helping out with our youth group, our major need for this Fall is for folks to provide meals. Click on the link below to sign up for a time that works with your family and you will earn extra Jesus points!
